Lunch at the Fairmount Tavern! They sure do know how to treat newlyweds!

On the way into town yesterday, we stopped at Cascade Ponds - the water is so clear you can see your feet! But it's so freezing you can only stay in long enough to take a photo!

We checked into our hotel - the Banff Caribou Lodge - where we were greeted by our lovely caribou friend in our bathroom :)

Yesterday we wandered downtown Banff, and met our first bear - a skeleton only, so it didn't give us much trouble. The large size was a good reminder for us to buy our bear repellent spray!!

Every meal has been delicious - last night we ate at a local brewery at an outdoor table overlooking Banff Ave - the main street through town.

Today we took the gondola to the top of Sulfur Mountain, and had breathtaking views! It's been raining on and off today, so it gave us a good chance to recharge the camera battery (and our own batteries!)

We are on our way out to a hike, more pictures to come!!
